For those who think of grain as a Biblical imperative, Sayer Ji writes in Grains, Health Food or Folly? at http://www.sayerji.com/?p=130#more-130

that the first foods given by God to man in the Bible are fruit trees and herbs (Genesis 1:29) and as punishment for sin, grains: “…cursed is the ground for thy sake;…In the sweat of thy face shalt though eat bread, till though return unto the ground…” (Genesis 3:17,19).

Since we developed high gluten wheat hybrids and stainless steel mills that can release dangerous particles which injure our villi and get into our blood stream, it has become a greater curse. If you aren't one of the 1/135 with outright celiac disease, save the bread for ceremonial and holiday celebrations and skip the sandwiches.

Hi. I treasured to drop you a quick note to express my thanks. I've been watching your blog for a month or so and have plucked up a heap of good information as well as enjoyed the way you've structured your site. I am attempting to run my own blog however I think its too general and I would like to focus more on smaller topics.
